Mostly in 2018, 2019 and 2021, Nintendo seemed to have been hinting at a new Ice Climber game throughout Smash Ultimate. 2018: in the UI, the Ice Climbers are often seen near Kirby characters, even having Kirby's face Photoshopped over Nana's, plus Kirby, King Dedede and Meta Knight are posing with the Ice Climbers in the end of the Banjo & Kazooie Smash reveal trailer, which makes me think HAL Laboratory, not Masahiro Sakurai because no Kid Icarus characters. 2019: two Condors from Ice Climber in Nintendo's official illustration for the Smash Ultimate Spirit Board Event "Kings and Queens of the Sky." This Spirit Board Event has never returned...yet. January 2020: tiny Ice Climbers are seen with Killing Edges except for one with a Banana Gun. 2021: in the Kazuya and Sora Sakurai Presents, the Ice Climbers are seen near Peach and Daisy three times.

Such a shame 2 player system link seems to be a thing of the past now. I never treid it on PS2, but my mate had a link cable for the PS1 and 2 TVs so I'd take my PS1 round his house and we'd do link up WipEout 2097 and Command & Conquer Red Alert. The king of system link games for me though has got to be OutRun 2 on the OG Xbox (and I'm including OutRun Coast 2 coast in that as well). Such an amazingly fun game.

if we dont get TP & WW on switch, please make them Switch 2 Launch Titles.

I'd absolutely love to see a 2D Zelda in the Direct, a brand new one would be the most ideal but a remake would be pretty cool as well, and while people are hoping for the Oracle games I would actually much prefer a remake of Zelda II, it's honestly a pretty cool game and could definitely be an excellent experience if remade, I'll be happy no matter what we get though.

Love how they're making clear design decisions that comes from the benefits of it being an open world game. Nice that they have focused designs instead of just being an open world game just for the sake of being an open world game. Reminds me of the design of Breath of the Wild. Looking forward to this

Big kudos to you guys for approaching this the way you did. The fact that the lesser experienced person in MH hunter attended SGF, but that you filtered all of that through your more experienced counterpart for clarity and context was a really good decision on your part and made it approachable for both old and new hunters. I can't say the same for everything else I've heard or read following the SGF closed door presentation. So, again, kudos to you guys for doing it this way!

I know we have the originals on NSO, but I would love the 3DS versions of OoT or MM on Switch.

modern VR headsets are also an excellent platform to play virtual boy games on, with controllers that map perfectly to the VB (sticks as dpads, and triggers and two face buttons per hand just like the VB), and 3d is also much better than on the 3ds (i haven't really used a new 3ds so it might be better there, but having to look straight on with old 3dses gets annoying)

In my opinion Snake's face model in the 3DS version actually looks wayy better than even the original and HD model versions of MGS3 (where Snake's face looks square-er). Plus there's normal mapping applied on some of the textures in the 3DS version as well.

I feel like, personally, video games have reached their limit when it comes showing off how much advanced graphics have become. At this point, what developers should do with picking art styles for their games is just picking art styles that will work or really work for the ones they're developing.

My wishlist for the direct are Metroid and Zelda ports sat on right now. Their Prime2 and 3 dropped, Samus returns as a remaster brought to the switch like Luigis mansion2. News of Prime4 and new trailers, a possible holiday release. The ports of Wind waker and Twilight princess hd are announced but come separately. Wind waker could be a summer release. Twilight priccess will be farther redone like prime 1. Link between worlds brought to the switch remastered. A new 2d Zelda or remake like the Oracles ( third game included- secrets people asked for. Zelda1 and 2, maybe Minish cap as a remake. They really need it as both archaic and Zelda 2 is painfylly hard. Its the black sheep of the series. A new Donkey kong country is possible, a 3d giant open world. It needs more love as tropical freeze is 10 years old. Additions to NSO are DK64, DK racing, Banjo Tooie, Zero Mission and Four swords added. Real hype for this direct 😮!

Game and Watch Gallery is absolutely something in the back of my head that only now that I think "Yeah! Makes actual sense!" with ND Cube having done both Mario Party and Clubhouse Games. Also YES KIRBY RPG YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kid Icarus Uprising remaster is a pipe dream for me. But literally, Nintendo would just need to put that out later this year and they wouldn't even need to make a new game as their 'big holiday title'

What I want foremost from Nintendo is a new Donkey Kong Country game. Nobody platforms like DK in the C. Fat chance considering Retro on MP4, but maybe that is why that game is taking so long (working on both). /wishfulthinking

I don't think we see Prime 4 at this Direct. I really think they're saving it for Switch 2 as a showpiece title to market the new console's fidelity. I'm sure it's cost an obscene amount to have this game in development for nearly a decade, and that'd help justify the expense more than just dumping it as a late-gen Switch title with 3-4 million sales.
